P'Town 2010 Recap
Monday, 28 June 2010
The Wheelworks team had another great ride from Boston to P'Town. The crew of 14 departed from the Commons at 5:45am Saturday and picked up one along the way in JP. Twelve riders made the full 135 mile trek, while a few split off at Sagamore and others joined the group for remaining 60 miles post lunch.

May and June 2010 in Review
Friday, 18 June 2010

The Triathlon season is in full swing in New England. We had some rough weekend weather early on, but the Wheelworks Tri team members toughed it out. Due to the weather, the swim in the NE Season Opener was replaced with a run for those racers in the later waves. WWMSers competing in Mooseman International had to wait out the heavy rain before the start of the race and missed out on the swim. Once the race got started word was that the weather cleared up and the rest of the day ended well.

Teammates are looking forward to the Harpoon B to B ride this weekend and our annual P'Town ride at the end of June.

The weekly Saturday Swimming Sloths and the Tuesday night Interval workouts are starting up. Stay tuned to the team list serve for the details.

2010 Team Focus Races
Sunday, 31 January 2010

Check out the list of team designated races for 2010. At each of these races, look for the Wheelworks tent and the WWMS banner at the race site for the pre- and post-race team gathering spot.

There are two championship races this year and we really encourage teammates to sign up for these races. The USAT Age Group championship is June 19 at the Pat Griskus Tri in CT. The NE USAT Regional and State championships are the same as last year, culminating at Cranberry County. Be sure to sign up early for these as they close out quickly. The more WWMS people we have at these races the better. Let's rack up points for the team!
