The 2012 New member Social will be held from 6pm- 8pm on February 23rd, 2012 at the Belmont Wheelworks Shop (480 Trapelo Road Belmont, MA Phone: 617.489.3577). We'll have a mechanics clinic kicking off at 6pm and a fit kit for team jerseys, tri-tops, tri-shorts and suits available from Champion Systems (New Team Uniform Design). We plan to continue the party at Conley's in Watertown after we close down the shop! New members are especially encouraged to come out and meet the team! Wheelworks Multisport teammates and potential new members, please join us for a fun run around the Charles River Saturday February 18th at 9:30am leaving from Au Bon Pain in Kendall Square (238 Main St, Cambridge). We will meet up at 9:30am and separate into pace groups and run up to the Museum of Science, down the Esplanade and back over the Mass Ave Bridge to MIT area and cap off the run with coffee and treats at Au Bon Pain. If you are thinking about joining the team, we will have a mix of existing team members there to answer your questions about being a part of a triathlon team. If you are a new member, this is a great way to meet some new teammates. Last time, we had 20 people running in the snow, I hope we get at least as many this time. It's that time of year again - we need to renew membership applications for the 2012 season! Please follow the link below to renew your membership. And, if you know anyone interested in joining, you can have them fill out the new member application. We're putting together details on a raffle where your name is entered for every new member you refer, so if someone fills out a new application, make sure that they list you in the section of "members you know." |

Please join us for a Wheelworks Multisport fun run on Saturday January 21st at 9:30am. We'll meet at the Au Bon Pain in Central Square (684 Massachusetts Avenue) and run 3-5 miles before meeting back there for coffee, snacks, and conversation. Don't worry about the pace - we'll break into groups based on speed and remember this is a fun run after all.
Let's spread the word to anyone who you think might be interested in joining the team - this is a great way for them to meet us in a casual training environment and see how extremely charming we all are before they sign up. RSVP on Facebook |
