Martial Arts Day for WWMS Members (March 13th)
Join us for a afternoon of Martial Arts and learn how you can benefit by adding it into your training mix.

You may not realize this, but practicing martial arts provides a lot more benefits besides self-defense. Through practice you can, increase flexibility, improve coordination, increase endurance, work muscles in their full range of motion, and develop a strong mental focus. The School of Oom Yung Doe in Davis Square has offered to put on a free clinic for Wheelworks Multisport that will teach different movements and meditations that will assist in your triathlon training.

When: Sat, March 13, 2pm – 4pm
Where: School of Oom Yung Doe; Elm Street in Davis Sq (behind Stbx) Where

The instructors will teach exercises that will help utilize the smaller muscle groups that are often neglected during regular training, helping maintain a balanced condition and preventing injuries. Breathing exercises to increase lung capacity and meditation to improve mental focus and calmness will also be taught. This is great opportunity to learn how to supplement your triathlon training. Space is limited so please email Neal if you are interested in attending or have any questions. Event details Saturday, March 13, 2-4pm School of Oom Yung Doe, Davis Square (in the courtyard in between Starbucks and Chipolte). Wear clothing you can move freely in (gym attire is appropriate).
